I need to give a big thank you to a blogger I just recently discovered,
Tuppence Ha'Penny, for
blogging Spoonflower yesterday! I stayed up way too late yesterday night obsessing over creating my first fabric print in Photoshop! It's based on a 1930's feedsack that I have but is in rough shape. Here it is! I'm rather proud of how it came out. Let's hope the swatch comes out as I'm hoping.
I stylized the image here a bit. The sample that was uploaded to Spoonflower doesn't have the "fabricy" texture applied to it and is higher resolution.
I love it! I've been looking for a similar print myself :-)
ReplyDeleteWhat are you going to make with it?
Thanks! Assuming all goes well with the swatch, I plan to make available to order on Moonflower.
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking of making the peasant blouse from this pattern:

ooh I LOVE it! Seriously fab print - look forward to seeing it on spoonflower.

Oh that's awesome, I was going to make a print of this one too, but maybe I can buy it from you instead! Nice job!
ReplyDeleteThanks ladies! I really hope it comes out. I have a nautical print all ready too, but not sure if I should go ahead and get it printed or wait for the other swatch first to see how it looks.
ReplyDeleteThis is FABULOUS!!! Love it!!!!
